We here in the Pacific Northwest are fortunate to have many nurseries that offer a wide variety of well-grown clematis in good-sized pots. Nonetheless, if you are like me, you will sometimes be unable to find that one wonderful clematis you covet.
I have been fortunate to find two superlative mail-order nurseries that offer a HUGE variety of large, healthy clematis. Sadly, Joy Creek Nursery, once also one of my favorite nurseries for clematis, is no longer.

The Rogerson Clematis Collection
The Rogerson Clematis Collection, located at historic Luscher Farm in Lake Oswego just south of Portland, Oregon, maintains a fabulous collection of clematis on view all year round. When the greenhouse is open, they also sell clematis, both the well-known and the unusual.
Far Reaches Farm in Port Townsend, Washington
Though this nursery does not offer a large array of clematis, sometimes they have very special ones for sale.
This wholesale nursery in Redmond, Washington, specializes in clematis and groundcovers.
